Do you know of that 2.3 billion everybody from the manufacturing plant, 18 wheeler delivery drivers, to Foot Locker, to the shoe designers, to the commercials, to the IRS, to executives, all have to take a cut?
Jordan risks zero money, does zero designs, does zero of the marketing plan, he is merely a face for the product.
He is just the marketing face yet pocketed 90 million for assuming zero risk, with zero infrastructure to even promote and distribute the product. how exactly did he get screwed?

No that's labor... There is so much more than just sweatshops... There is production/ material costs/ marketing and shipping r&d costs..plant and operations costs and more costs associated... Jordan isn't footing this bill .. He couldn't afford to do this, he is just using his brand and eating.

Hell really most blacks don't wait in line for most Jordan releases; the only time you'll see nikkas lined up waiting for Jordans is the big Winter release.
Not only that but that's 2billion in RETAIL sales, nike mainly wholesales to footlocker, fnl, and other indie and mom and pops. Therefore they're not seeing all that 2+billion, they wholsale the shoes at around 80-100 dollars or so.

For Michael Jordan to make 90 million (4% of gross revenue of the Jordan brand) a year off of simply having his likeness tied to a product line w/o having to do shyt is all kinds of win.
