not Bron fault the East is awful, East has always been a first round bye type thing for 1/2 seeds but I think '13 and '14 were just especially trash with byes in the second round too.

its kinda hard to have multiple 60 win teams out west when you got 8 teams winning 50 on average. western conference teams play each other 4 times while only getting to play the east 2 times. thus they beat up on each other more. hence not many 60 win teams but 8 50 win teams almost every year.

this is what makes the futility of the east even more embrassing. they play a weak regular season schedule every year and they still won't win as many games as the playoff teams out west.
