So a school for low achieving students still has the students underachieving and not improving.

Say all the time, it all starts at home, and no amount of money/resources is going to change shyt if the importance of education is not reinforced at the crib.

wild thing is when you scrutinize and track the high performing students at these same schools they often (if not generally) aren't doing well themselves in actuality. this nation has developed a tendency to where even valedictorians cannot perform well in freshman remedial college courses depending on the school/school district. these are the homes where everyone will presume that education is valued within, ironically... well, valuing education and having the skillset and access to objectively navigate systems of education are 2 different things

then theres the unsafe presumption that the instructor in front of the children is credentialed and compenent... there's schools for teacher certification as well. they are poor performing overall themselves (well never be fed this info in pop culture discourse)

then the whole "money resource" thing is a scam itself. the children are vessels/justifications for funding, they aren't getting invested in. the money goes around them. routine horror stories like school districts paying publishers millions on barely changed versions of the same textbooks every school year and those books just stacking in a closet warehoused somewhere. the "more money" play gets allocated through a racket /moneygrab to private entities like everything else

these educational blunders require much more complicated conversations than they are given

Jordan been doin things for the black community it doesn’t get publicity

He use to provide books for Chicago schools in poor neighborhoods,created the Chicago literacy initiative for black students to be able to read proficient, donated 5 million to an all black boys school in Chicago ,donated 1 million to morehouse ,opened 4 free health clinics in North Carolina etc
