There is no difference in the diamond that the eye can tell and I got a significantly better looking quality diamond that if I was to have bought a natural stone.
Right... lab grown diamonds aren't fake they just weren't found in the nature.

Think of it as being a farmer vs being a hunter/gatherer. Are the vegetables fake because you cultivated them in a controlled environment? Is the beef fake because you raised it yourself instead of tracking it down in the wild?

Nope, it's just an innovation to make things more efficient for human use.

He said its lab grown, so it’s not a natural diamond.
It’s still real…does it matter if it was carbon naturally compressed by the earth vs compressed in the lab? It’s the same element that underwent the same process just in different environments. Cats really wanna act like they different when not one element in the stone differs :dead:

Its like saying a Pitbull isn't a real dog because they are the result of humans breeding them over centuries and don't actually pop up in the wild.
They still real, just not the traditional origins as a wild dog.

But that wasn’t my point or the person I quoted sooo….

The distinction between natural and lab grown diamonds is prevalent still. Both in value and recognition.
Nah, it’s not. The supposed “increased value” comes from fallacies, artificial suppression of supply, and name brands. The exact reasons why the price of and demand for “natural” diamonds is coming down. You can get the real thing without the fluff inflating the final price (and without the controversy)
