Thomas, Dumars, Aguirre, Sally and Rodman are basically the same age as Jordan. Pippen and Grant were a little younger than everyone else, but not by much. Hell Cartwright was probably the oldest dude out there other than probably Edwards.

Pistons had way more wear and tear by the time 1991 hit. Going deep in the playoffs year after year against the legendary 80s Lakers and 80s Celtics
While during the same time the Bulls during the 80s were either missing the playoffs, or losing in the 1st round. That famous Celtics-Bulls playoff game where Jordan had 63 points and Larry Bird called Jordan "God disguised as a Basketball player".... they got swept that series lol
Wasn't until 1989 when the Bulls starting hitting their stride
