this is a classic case of bougie negroes siding with a fellow bougie.
meek isn't malcolm x but he's spoken on inner-city ills in america goes on wax far more consistently than this wealthy foreigner. and i don't even bump meek like that.
the whole reason street cats relate to meek is because he articulates BLACK STRUGGLE even amidst the other fukkery.
i posted this in another thread, but anyone who's grown up with little can relate to meek's music to an extent:
What makes Drake bougie?
Because he's light-skinned?Because he had a job on a tv show as a teenager?
Right now they're all millionaires, what makes Meek more real ... because he talks about the struggle while also talking about things damaging to the black community? I just don't understand your point. People who grew up with little can likely relate to both Meek and Drake, for different reasons, so it makes sense why some would gravitate towards either one.
You know who has spoken on inner city ills articulately, as well as race in America? Childish Gambino. I'm siding with him and dismissing EVERYthing Meek Mills has rapped about.

Because he wants to talk about police brutality for the first time in his rap stardom when dissed by a fellow rapper on an unrelated situation. Drake is as bougie and slimy as it gets. I could give two shyts what no nikkas and cookie thinks about this whole situation.

didn't help Jay
