Everyone here has pretty much covered my thoughts on this Allen situation in particular so I’ll just say this in general terms. I’ve been so tired and over the excuses that come flying in whenever old tweets get exposed and I’m glad other ppl are sick of the bs too.

“Finding old tweets is a witch hunt and wrong”
“It’s lame af to go searching thru somebody’s tweets”
Idgaf about any of these dumbass excuses. All millennials aren’t teenagers and many of us had social media at 15 as well. I wasn’t on MySpace calling ppl slurs and saying racist shyt. Idgaf how “lame” it is to go thru ppl’s old PUBLIC comments. Ppl that say shyt like that come off as having something to hide.
Yes ppl can change but if it’s so evident that they’ve changed then they can use it as a teaching moment rather than lie and try to play it off as a joke or being hacked. At the end of the day let each individual person make the call on if they want to continue fw that public figure or not because that’s what this is really about. These aren’t witch hunts. These are rare moments of transparency where ppl can make informed choices about whether or not they choose to support public figures.

OU ran very few bubble screens this past season. Yeah we did when Sterling Shepard was there and some with Westbrook the following year. But most of that stopped this past year bc we had WRs that could get separation. The roll out play was a PA pass which allowed the X receiver to have more time to get deep. Did you watch? Go watch some highlights from 2017.
Yeah, short crossing routes OVER THE MIDDLE where Mayfield sat in the pocket. Not one got batted down. Again, you didn't watch.
Thats why even the Johnny Manziel comparison is dumb bc he wasn't a running QB the past 2 seasons. But People dont watch. Thats why 40 time doesn't really matter in his case bc he only runs as a last option.

All I've heard is how Darnold, Rosen, and Allen are better, yet no stats or pro day workouts do much swaying.

When someone cheats on their wife or hits someone while drinking and driving, it's seems like nothing to say, "Yeah....I did that and well, honestly...I might have anger issues, a problem with fidelity or I felt inadequate and I have to admit that I really have drinking problem. My pops used to beat/cheat on my mom or I've been drinking since I was a kid."
When is a day going to come where someone (of note) does something racist, is actually grilled about it in a public forum, and they go, "Yeah...I actually am prejudice and possibly even racist, maybe to a lesser degree than I was when I was younger, but it's something that was instilled in me from a young age because of ___________ and I've rationalized it because of _________."
It never really gets deeper than "No, I'm not. My bad."

It’s funny because my former coworker is Latino and was on the same HS football team as him (Firebaugh HS) and a couple years back, he told me that his entire team was heavy on that
