Lmao QBR is the worst stat imaginable...
He's not great but its nearing a point you gotta acknowledge his skill is growing. He showed unbelievable poise after the Bills got punched early. Didn't get happy feet in the pocket, scrambled at the right moments, didn't scramble when he didn't need to---->there are a number of plays he stood in the pocket and delivered STRIKES with pressure on him and/or tight windows...
This is a run first team with elite defense so they aren't gonna ask him to throw it alot most games, but I wouldn't say he's being "carried" by anybody. A QB carried by his defense doesn't make the winning plays he made when the team was struggling the first quarter and a half, nor the winning plays to slam the door shut on the Cowboys in the second half...
Too early to call him a star but the potential is quite obvious and he's the best QB Buffalo has had in a long time...
Bills could be a dark horse SB threat. The way they play defense is obviously sustainable, though you can run on em. Let's see how they perform versus Baltimore next week, but the ceiling is really high for them to put higher seeded teams on upset alert...
QBR actually factors in running...
Anyway
QB1 15/26 209 yards 2 tds 0 ints
8 carries 51 yards 1 td
QB2
19/24 231 yards 1 td 0 int
10 carries 43 yards 1 td
One is Josh Allen and the other is Jeff Driskel vs. the Cowboys.
I actually think Allen is solid. However, this is by far their best win of the season....and it happened against the Cowboys and Garrett BS.
Beating the Dolphins twice, Bengals, Jets (no Darnold), Titans (14-7 vs. Mariota), Redskins, Broncos, Giants....ehhhh
We need to see more
Baltimore next week
And I'll be certainly rooting for them against the Patriots
Just need to see more in regards to the team/him cause a lot of things have fell in place so far and he's still only putting up average #s.
