Some of these names are not like the other. I'll give you Rodgers, Wilson, and Lamar as being guys capable of leading subpar talent to the Super Bowl. But fukk outta here on Brady, Brees, and Mahomes carrying subpar talent.

No need for the hostility, bro, I've never disliked Josh Allen or anything. I was neutral on him two years ago, recognized his improvement last season and am acknowledging his progression each season is undeniable at this point. I'm old (not really, but kinda) and still believe developing a young quarterback is better for most younger players than throwing them to the wolves. Sometimes starting too early hurts young quarterbacks and my general outlook on Allen in 2018 was he was a talented guy not likely to get the full chance he would need, because he was starting too early. We all know how fickle fans are today and how much pressure there is for some rookies to have an immediate and winning impact. I think a lot of potential is being lost because of this mentality. Maybe I'm just too sympathetic. :yeshrug:

First of all, on Mahomes, you just gonna ignore the fact the Chiefs were a perennial playoff team with Alex Smith before he arrived. Mahomes put them over the top. He didn't carry some sorry squad. Also last year when he was hurt, the Chiefs looked fine against the Vikings and Packers without him. We have zero evidence of knowing how Mahomes would fare with subpar talent. He's been on a loaded offensive team since he arrived in the league.

This kind of makes the point, though. Even with loaded offenses and Reid's offensive mind, Smith (I like Alex Smith) couldn't quite get the Chiefs all the way. Not only did Mahomes do that (very quickly), the difference between Smith's Chiefs and Mahomes's Chiefs offensively has been massive. We also watch this kid weekly make throws only Aaron and Russell can make.

Can't believe you named Brees. That dude is the epitome of a system QB. Sean Payton literally saved his career. Dude is a dink and dunk machine who gets bailed out by his playmakers (see Alvin Kamara last night versus the Packers). When Brees didn't have Payton in San Diego he was no record breaking QB.

This just sounds like ahistorical hate.

Now finally onto Tom Brady. He is a product of Belichick. In 2008 without him in the lineup they went 11-5. Then in 2016 when he was suspended they won games with Garroppolo and Brissett. Now they got Cam and haven't missed a beat. Tom Brady never carried anybody to anything. He was part of the Patriots system.

I dislike Tom Brady as much as anybody outside Massachusetts, but come on. I've never liked the "It's ALL the head coach/coordinator" or the "It's ALL the quarterback" positions people take, especially when that position is switched up based on like and dislike. I could just as easily attribute the entirety of Josh Allen's success to Brian Daboll. It doesn't have to be either-or, it can be both.

With all that said, I believe Josh Allen is in the Rodgers, Wilson, and Lamar category. He can carry a subpar group to a championship. He has that level of elite talent.

brother the guy just threw a game winning TD. Kyler just made a slightly more miraculous throw

Game should not have come down to that last throw,it did because Allen had 2 INTS,hes still too damn careless with the ball...
