Yea I’ll take the L on that one, didn’t think Allen would look so overwhelmed like he did in that 3rd preseason game vs the Bengals. Probably for the best considering how horrible Bills O-Line is

agreed but the kid has too much raw talent to pass up. this kid would be perfect for a kubiak/arians type offense.

The funniest thing about Swag's infatuation with Allen is, he openly admits that any QB can put up #s due to the favorable passing conditions of today's league (in fact, he's one of the biggest advocates behind the movement that believes the NFL product is diluted), yet he completely ignores the fact that Allen is only averaging 138 yards per game (2 TDs and 5 INTs). Now those #s are historically bad by any reasonable measure, but when you take into account Swag isn't impressed when players throw for 400+ yards and multiple TDs because "anyone can do it", it really puts Allen's performances into perspective of how bad they actually are - or should I say, how bad that Swag should believe they are.

This bum actually got credit with a gw drive against us last week when he only threw and completed one pass behind the line of scrimmage for a 6yd gain. Which is why I dont take stats like gw drives serious because they provide zero context.
But truth be told, and objectively speaking, I didn't get the feeling that he was overwhelmed in that game and I actually think hes gonna be solid af long term. A bust by the standards of how high he was drafted, but not in the context of how solid his career will be if that makes sense. Think Alex Smith in that regard.
