A's :heh:
Oakland is :flabbynsick:
Soon as the Warriors leave, it's going to be one depressing decrepit shyt hole there :skip:
Oakland coliseum is like a big toilet, the Raiders are like a heavy turd anchoring itself at the bottom with random corn kernels in it. and blood.
And hair.

Losing Barreto sucks, but still a great trade. Jays are also trying to get more professional/mature players and cleanup the lockeroom. Lawrie and Rasmus gone, Martin and Donaldson in. Jays still need to get someone to play 2b, and lf. An ace is needed but I doubt that happens.

Beane is doing what he's always does, Lawrie could bust out. he could have a nice pen arm, but what bothers me most is the trade last year. He just got a 18 year old ss which seems to be the jewel of the trade... he traded a jewel of the sport ss last year for Jeff fukkthespellingofyourlastname and now he's probably gonna flip him too.

You seem pretty knowledgeable about baseball. What what you do about the cubs having castro, baez and addison russell? They're all young castro is proven, baez and russell have potential.Would you have them switch positions or trade one?

i know you watch him more than me, but he's shown flashes. wouldn't be the first time a former big prospect broke out in his mid to late 20s. who the hell was Josh Donaldson before Oakland? Lawrie comes with more early press than he certainly had.

I tend to root for guys who were mainstays on my fantasy team. I controlled Lawrie from Milwaukee and the fukk gave me like a month of good play the entire time he was on my team... but b/c of that, i want him to succeed. Yes, this is basically what baseball has become. Root for the Mets, then root for my fantasy draft picks. Love you for life, Puig!

Theo can sit there and claim Castro is a part of the future all he wants. He's gonna cash in on him eventually, and teams should know this, thus not be willing to give up the farm for him. I'd love Castro (not a massive fan) but not for my top 2 prospects.

Based on my very limited knowledge of all of them, i can see Baez hitting 30 homers and then be shipped out for pitching or something. People love him, but lets be real, he has huge bust potential if he doesn't get those k's down. He could hit 40 but k 200x easy and when that happens in the end, your numbers aren't that hot.

I'd trade Syndergaard right now for Russell. I'd probably give them Plawecki too... that being said, there's about 1% chance of that happening.

dude can't stay healthy, goes through long stretches of being invisible

maybe a change of scenery will be good for him

or maybe he will continue to be a bust like jp arencibia, as a jays fan i've seen these guys come and go through the years "studs" like travis snider, jp arencibia, brett lawrie, guys who were next but sucked, couldn't stay healthy got traded and continue to

ill take this trade any day of the week, we got enough young pitchers anyways.

as a blue jays fan I don't care about these minor leaguers, whens the last time any of these guys amounted to something?

edwin, jose ain't getting any younger strike now
there's almost no reason for a Jays fan to be upset about this trade. not 1. you lost a potentially good young ss, but you still gotta pay Reyes a boatload

Im rooting for them hard. A. for Jose and dikkey (whom the players hate, apparently?) and B. b/c fukk the Yanks and Sox
