1. if i was a team like cleveland or minnesota, id take a look at freeman. i think he could be a good QB in the league. top 15 potential if he is in the right system and gets his head right. time will tell if he is ruined mentally though. at the very least, a competent back up.
2. you guys are forgetting about steamin beamin tarvaris jackson as a backup. he scored more fantasy points than aaron rodgers last week (i think) :bryan:

of course he can start. every QB can start. sure.

but his true value will be in being a back up and helping young hot shot QBs find a way. nothing is wrong with that.

I'm no Vikings fan but it's sad watching the Vikings waste Adrian Peterson's career like that. Not that Josh Freeman is a world beater but it's at least better than what they have now

Freeman can start in this league. He may not be elite or even a star but when you look around the league there are several QBs starting who's teams wish they had Freeman instead or would at least give him a shot.
