It was more of people didn't want to pay Culter that money, than McCown better him. Which leads to the point of this thread. Who The fukk vouch McCown being good?

yes, but you dont see the difference between getting a 'guy like mccown' as a stop gap and him being 'my dude' ?I remember not too long ago you championed the idea of getting a guy like McCown instead of paying big money to non-elie QBs. That was you breh.
I said mccown or palmer or fitz who arent good would be decent stopgaps. that doesnt mean I consider them good qbs.
like wilhoite is a stopgap for us at MLB
seems like you just cant wrap your head that in my opinion qbs are no more important than other positions. if you actually tried putting yourself into my position and seeing where Im coming from, you wouldnt post dumb stuff saying he's 'my dude'. unless youre trying to troll me

you dont have to actually be a good qb to be a better value to a team than overpaid cutler is.
Dudes acting brand new like I just pulled this out of my ass. Nikkaz were riding for Mcown.
You and some others were really trying to push getting a QB like McCoun over paying the going rate for young QBs with upside. McCoun is not in the same league as Fitz or Palmer.

Im not 'trying' to push.I still maintain that position. to you, its important to get 'that' guy even if it means severely overpaying
to me, its all about meeting the value established for a player. Id get rid of hall of famers if I have to overpay for them, more than I think theyre actually worth
so even after todays performance, Id STILL rather have mccown as a cheap stopgap than cutler getting 18+ milly per. I can get a guy like revis for the difference and may have some change to get a half-decent safety. this is not even a debate to me. its like paying patrick peterson 18+ milly or getting a corner whos a stopgap for peanuts. always will go with the stopgap...and this is generous because PP as a corner >>>> cutler as a qb
