Josh Smith's jumper has been busted since HS. His game never evolved.
His skillset wasn’t universally needed everywhere. He was good in Houston and seemed to regain his career after faltering in Detroit. Houston offered him a contract to come back and he chose LA clippers because they offer d him slightly more money(like a couple hundred thousand and more) and they had no role for him whereas he had a defined role in Houston. Dude could’ve thrived in Houston for another season or two but chose money and the conclusion of his career.Dude was a great passer and defender
Him not being in the league has to be deeper than him “chucking up threes”. He should be in the league.
My man was getting so bad with the 3point shyt the fans would boo as soon as he pulled up from behind the line.

That Pistons team with him and Branden Jennings was by far the lowest IQ team ever assembled![]()

I think people forget how quickly some guys fall off when their athleticism goes. There have always been a LOT of players who fell out of the league at ages 30-32.Dude was a great passer and defender

Where would James harden be without him?

Rockets were -20 with Harden on the court that game and +32 with him off the court.Damn I never noticed they benched Harden in a playoff game..

Decline in athletic ability + falling in love with the 3 pointer = Hello China

Somewhat not his fault, he shouldn’t have EVER been allowed to shoot 3’s and continued his career as PF
