Did you guys know Ian Curtis was only 23 when he died?

Joy Division was dark, didn't think such a young guy would be going that deep
I knew he committed suicide from his health and marriage problems, which I figured was some late 20s.

that Manchester era was something else. I found an old tape with songs a class mate of mine made for me,The Cure, Siouxie and the Banshees,Killing Joke,Fun boy three(Specials),The Jam and a whole bunch of obscure 80s bands, rocked out to that tape for a good two months after i found it.so much incredible music that decade from the UK,they drowned out the US influx of music for a minute.
