I am an anarchist and what Snowden did was heroic.

Now it was never a surprise (learned much of this stuff in academia) but it took courage to put on the Summer Jam Screen, the American state engaging in broad and sweeping surveillance of its own citizens.

1) I'm a Bernie Sanders supporter, and I agree more with his positions on healthcare, education, and social liberalism. I just wanted to get this out the way before I say number 2

2) Joy Reid is right about the democratic party. They frighten to easy. They keep on saying stop with the identity politics, but actually they should double down on it. Barack Obama whole election was based on identity politics, and it was a smart move. I respectfully disagree with Bernie Sanders on this approach.

3) Even though I cant stand him, Donald Trump used his own version of identity politics. Democrats need to take this same approach.

-Hillary Clinton lost the Electoral College b/c the Clinton administration passed NAFTA and those broke white people in Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, and PA weren't stupid enough to vote for someone who supports TPP. At the same time as she's pretending she doesn't support TPP Obama is trying to pass TPP during the lameduck session.

Obama campaigns as a BIG liberal and governs as a North Eastern Republican. In 2008 he presented himself as the next coming of FDR. In 2012, he was lucky that the Republicans put up Thurston Howell III (Mitt Romney). Republicans ran a Wall Street Outsourcer and Dems did the same thing in 2016.

Bernie was saying identity politics ALONE isn't enough; if that was the case then why don't black people support Clarence Thomas or Ben Carson?
