To fully sound engineer a song it takes days if not weeks to get the sonics right. One of my pet peeves this generation is the ADD for content regardless of quality.

Who Shot Ya was/is full of a bunch of subliminals that your casual rap fan would never connect the dots with. Biggie was on record saying the track wasn't about Pac (we know that's a lie but still). And this was pre web 2.0 age so people couldn't really discuss, dissect and share like they can do now. It was limited to your homeboys and your community back then. Or you would hope for an article in The Source explaining shyt to you.
