I don't think he's ever called a Roman reigns match... And he was probably to sad to get all government mule on us... because that spear through the table should have set good ol JR off
JR isn't that good right now to be honest. He's fine and does a good job but he isn't unique or head and shoulders above the rest like he used to. I'm not complaining though, it's fine he's at this level at this point of his life, but don't expect much of a difference from what you got last night
All the other commentators are legit trash though.. morrow is the closest one

I want to see just one match with a two man booth with JR and Corey - to get that same mix of babyface earnestness and heel smarm that Gorilla and Jesse had. 
c'mon breh, you're basing this off a ONE match appearance in which he wasn't trying to step on toes of the full-timers. He was just tryna fit in in that scenario.
He still built up parts of the match in ways Cole cannot do

He's been pretty subpar on everything he's called the past few years. Dudes just tired and that's okay.
I still welcome hearing him and will follow whatever he does.

No, I'm basing it of JR works in the last few years. He has continued to do play by play in different places before last night.
I think he'll get excited when something is excitable to him.

Graves is decent. Give me JR, Cole, and Graves. Have Saxton do interviews and take those sympathetic staff bumps when a heel needs to get over.
They are probably giving Todd Phillips that role. They should put JR on NXT. He can get those guys over greatly commentating and it's less travel.
I agree with this sorta. Not all of them tho. Just the title matches or really big matches on dual brand ppvs like WM, MITB, SummerSlam, Survivor Series and RR
