:dahell: He was on his way out the league if the Knicks didn't take a risk on him after he went to china. He had some positives while he was with us but then went back to the old jr with his idiot habits

:childplease: Knicks hated him... He was dolans golfing buddy and his bro got a roster spot FOH :camby:

JR is a 6th man/role player, he failed when you guys asked to do more than that. Once Kidd and other vets left, JR had to do stuff outside his zone. That's like Paul getting injured, and the Clippers ask Crawford to facilitate the offense.

Knicks fans are the most ungrateful , sh1tty fans in the world. In general that's all negative NY fans. That's why I feel in some weird karma way knicks never win anything cause we so unappreciative. As a knicks fan it's crazy how quick we are to tar and feather someone on a bad game, call them all kind of names and just sh1t on them. JR had his problems but he also had his highlights and honestly he gave more good to us than bad.

How did the Knicks hate on him?

JR Smith is a talented player who put his head down in a contract year with the Knicks and played GREAT.
It got him the 6th Man of the Year Award.

Then he got reckless as fukk.
Partying all the time in NYC.
Shooting reckless during games.
Not playing defense.
Got suspended for weed (I think).

JR Smith himself said he's better in Cleveland because he can't party all the time like he did in NYC.

He's to blame for his own fukkin failures with the Knicks.
It's not the Knicks' fault this jagaloon didn't live up to his potential here.

:what: What kind of blatant lie is this? He wasn't on his way out no damn league. More than a handful of teams were pursuing AR after he got free from being stuck in China. I remember it was a few teams in the East, including the Bulls, and the LA teams out west too.

And he didn't go to China because he couldn't get a job in the league anymore; him and a few other players went over there to make some money because the NBA was locked out. The only reason he was over there for the amount of time that he was, was because he was contractually obligated (I think he got some bad advice from his agent and thought the lockout would last longer)

I don't even like AR (I'm a Bulls fan:mjcry:) But I can't let you get away with this clearly false revisionist history.

Breh he wanted that starting role if you forgot.. Once they gave it to him then he couldn't handle the role
