Avery Bradley is a dying breed.
Defense is like 90% effort in general, on the perimeter it's like 95% effort.
Most players in the league today are athletic enough to be above average defenders, but they only care about stats that get them max contracts.
Can't say I blame them in some instances (why do something harder that gets me on less ESPN highlights and makes me less money?) but there is a certain amount of pride to be gained by making someone else HATE playing against you.
The dude is like 22 too. He probably has 6 -7 more years of fresh legs to keep up this pace....maybe more since Boston eased him into rotations and the games he missed from the shoulder surgery.
