feels like a lot of these players are jaded and mad they been forgotten about and seek validation
its like their whole life they been seeking it and now they have a platform to do so

plus the new contracts got a LOT of older cats jealous as fukk

not even the old school fans will cosign brandon fukking jennings being better than jrue.
Yeah the vast majority of athletes are forgotten(even great players)after they play so feel the need to get on these platforms and remind you who they were because of insecurity.

I wonder what it is about basketball that creates these massive egos.

I rarely hear a quarterback or a shortstop rant or whine in retirement about respect. Or claim they were better than so-and-so.

It makes these basketball players look so lame.
Basketball is like boxing, I can see why certain players feel types of ways about other players

Imagine if Brandon Jenning got injured after his 50 point game.

Dude would be saying that he’s better than MJ :mjlol:

Fool talking about I smoked them during the 1 workout, so I’m better :skip:

A number of people felt the need to come at me with examples of athletes in other sports going at one another.

My original comment was as follows:
"I wonder what it is about basketball that creates these massive egos.

I should stress that I wrote "rarely" because even if it does happen in other sports, I don't think it's at the level or frequency of basketball. Even in sports where there is a more direct 1-on-1 engagement.

I mean to what extent can u really go against what Jennings is saying, it’s his opinion, as many times as they probably played each other it’s not crazy for him to feel like that

I still remember that Brandon Jennings vs Derrick Rose thread. Someone said Rose might be an multi all star but Brandon Jennings is a HOFer after that one game :mjlol:

While basketball is a team game there are instances where a single player can pretty much win games and carry a team. Football and baseball are much more dependent on the entire team being good to win games.

Football players have more of a brotherhood. Hockey and baseball too. Basketball is the most individualistic because one person can have an outsized impact on winning.

Personally, I've noticed baseball players can be the douchiest by far but they tend to keep their mouth shut.

Entire 09 draft class about to be going at this nikka

This is facts too.…Ty was like 3 inches shorter than Brandon and was a far superior player at every level than that goofy chucking ass nikka :russ: Actaully showed up in big time games in the playoffs too unlike that delusional nikka Jennings who called himself a franchise player for a team that only went above .500 once in his career.… his famed rookie season where he shot a disgusting .37% from the field and was the sidekick to a sidekick
