No offense, but what rock have you been living under? A man gets shot multiple times in the back while running away ON VIDEO...and you still have the capacity to get shocked/believe in the system?
The thing I want to know is, what was that lone juror holding out over? What was the disagreement? Were they disagreeing over manslaughter vs. murder? Or did the lone juror not want to convict the cop on any charges at all?
