Juice vs. Menace II Society

Menace is a more grounded, realistic story. I prefer that. Juice is a more surreal morality play. Its a story that could be told in any setting with any group of characters. I appreciate that but still like Menace better.

I’d say Menace was the better movie.

When Menace dropped, the clothing styles and mannerisms of the actors, it seemed years later after BNTH, and Juice. Maybe it was me being 12 and not 10 when the others came out, and being more aware of my surroundings and own style and shyt.

a lot changed between 1991 and 1993 tho..

Styles changed a lot with wardrobe and music in that period.

For an example of clothes changing, just look at the Jodeci and TLC’s wardrobe on their debut albums in 91’, and then their follow ups in 93/94.

That Gangsta shyt made the industry do a 360... Look at Run DMC: Mc Hammer: DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince Even Vanilla Ice switched his whole shyt and tried to rap like Das Efx :mjlol::russ:
