from a listening/enjoying point of view, this is a solid 8 in my book. I only skip a few tracks. most of the rest are bangers too
If you look at the strategy, you can see Juicy embracing the "new school" artists, but having many of them as features. It's a great combo of old and skilled with new and skilled. Juicy loves good music and is interested the present. That is very hard to do, for anyone, never the less a "Rock Star" rapper. We got Gucci too, who is a hell of a trendsetter, that always works with the new class of rappers. You can tell Gucci loves music.
Let's all hope we can be as open-minded as these legends of the genre
Completely agree. Gucci, Juicy J, E-40, Bun B, and 2Chainz have all done very good variations of this. They're not afraid to age while still embracing newer artists, and they do a good job of seamlessly fitting in while staying true to themselves.
And Project Pat on "watch Money Fall" was fire, that was a verse straight from 2001 or something.
