People are sick n tired of everytime they discover a new artist and start to click with their music its a very high chance that artist is gonna get smoked or locked up.. I still haven't listened to anything new as far as hiphop since Takeoff was murdered..

I been saying that, but these The Booth heads are too caught up in these Mr Magic techno-beats-in-heavier-drums called Trap music, and gimmicks that doesn't relate to quality of music.

Now even women and CACs are leaving mainstream rap in droves. Record companies are planning on going scorched earth on rap subdivisions on their labels very soon, and not many rap albums are charting much at all. Rap as a music force is DONE DONE. 2024 onwards its gonna look bleak because too many greedy stubborn c00ns refuse to step up their lyrical game and refuse to move on from those trap beats.

Maybe we can find a way for Boom Bap to come back.

The avg consumer is tired of hearing all this shyt. Drake is putting up human numbers compared to what he used to. They can't even go back to compare that album's sales/streams to his other ones, that's why all the PR on it is 2023 albums only. What more do you need?
