I'm willing to say their one of the best, but if we're honest, they're in the conversation about the greatest of all time, but exiting said conversation earlier than a lot of people probably think.
No NWA is to say not close is a disservice to rap, production wise they’re pretty influential but if we’re talking rapping a lot of the newer rappers of the last 10 years share more in common with Bone Thugz.

Bizarre, Tip by himself influenced two of the greatest rap producers of all time Kanye and Dilla, he had production on Illmatic, even if you want to argue 36 and DJ Paul directly influenced Trap which they did, Trap has only been on top for 15 years, Tip be ATCQ line of influence stretches longer from the late 80’s all the way to Kanye in the mid and late 00’s
