It's starting to happen again people completely forgetting things that were shown in season 1/2 and acting like Gege is just tossing new information at them



We already knew how Naoyas technique worked, old man zenin gave us a thorough explanation when they were fighting the fish nikka in Shibuya


And we also already know abilities pass through bloodlines, Megumi/Gojo/Kamo all inherited their abilities and this was known




We also knew Choso wasn't human already




Im seeing people complaining about these things being too much new information and im just like wtf is going on we are watching a huge decline in peoples memorization skills in real time internet clapping us in slow motion forreal

What's funny is you only really notice it in specific situations like remembering stuff from a show, it's hard to really clock how good someones memory is otherwise unless you spent years with em.

low-key I think a big thing hurting people with retaining info is just how much overall media they consume. I don't casually watch a lot of stuff. Meaning I'm not the type to sit down after work and browse netflix and be juggling 3-4 shows at a time all the time

and people have gotten lazier and more ego driven, where they can't even fathom having misinterpreted/forgotten/missed something and the knee-jerk reaction is to just blame the show/movie.

If I really like a show or movie I'll seek out multiple longer form reviews of it and it shocks me sometimes when people will bring something up as a criticism or a wish for something to be different and they're just straight up wrong or have a massive gap in memory that shouldn't be there if they were watching with the bare minimum of engagement

I hate this trend that Demon Slayer started.

Regarding the anime. Maki is here

Seems it's gonna take 2 episodes to get Hakari on board and then they'll probably do the Yaga execution so it's gonna be 4-5 episodes inside one of the colonies. I guess the season ends with Yuji vs Higuruma? (and they invert the order with Fushiguro's fight)

@T-K-G didn't want to post this in the anime thread to not go into spoiler territory. But as much as I agree that Gege was on some at Naruto fans with the Zen'in and Uchiha. We also have to admit he did made Fushiguro bytch made just as if he was an Uchiha

gege's writing hasn't even gotten bad yet and people are already lost. what's so hard to comprehend about the culling game rules? also like I said with people not retaining information and blaming the show is happening around mai/maki and her fully becoming like toji

there's no excuse of convoluted or bad story telling with that part. the show has constantly drawn parallels to maki and toji. what made him special and why maki was an incomplete version of him



when the constant binding vow stuff starts and meaningless side plots/characters that go nowhere come into play hoo boy

But then have Yuji finally touch down and flex real quick at the end, seeing him clear a building with PB is some good shyt, these alien nikkas are complete bozos i thought he was gonna make them redeemable somehow but nah, they all need to get smoked
