Yes, he was definitely one of the best of his era, but I wouldn’t say him and AB are that generations Owens v.s. Moss debate.

I think most would say Moss and Owens were clearly the two best of their era. I can see people ranking Julio anywhere from first to somewhere around five or six depending on how far we go back.
