Karl Malone is interesting, which makes me want to deep dive on a topic I don’t think I ever heard discussed
Is the 4 the weakest position in terms of talent in nba history?
Like the top five power forwards may be weaker than the top five of each other position
How many hall of fame 4s compared to other positions and what was they careers like
Id go:interesting. Mine would be
Magic
Curry
Isiah
Oscar
Nash [maybe Russ, Chris Paul, Kidd, Dennis Johnson]
Jordan
Kobe
Wade
West
Iverson
Lebron
Bird
Dr J
KD
Pippen
Tim Duncan
Barkley
KG
Dirk
Malone [Rodman, McHale, Pau maybe]
I'd say PG is the lowest in terms of depth. You fall off quick after 4 to guys who never won titles, or guys who were never the best on their team...

Is it?I’m not doing all that. Saying the 4 is the weakest position over SG is laughable
Is it?
I don’t know, sg might have more depth than power forwardOutside Jordan, Kobe, Dwade, and Drexler who is really all time great at that position? Guys like Miller, Allen, Mcgrady are good but not great. Now compare that to Malone, Worthy, Barkley, Garnett, Duncan, Dirk, Giannis, AD

Ray and worthy is debatable, lowkey worthy might’ve had a better overall basketball career including college
