people mad because he didnt list a bunch of 90s-00s players.

people should instead be researching why these players are on this list and OG lists, but instead they get mad that a top 50 player that they grew up on recently, isnt in the all-time top 10 of someone whos been around longer.

Im surprised Kobe is not on the list.

why would you expect kobe on there?

a forced trendy pick of the 2020s. you think a guy in his 70s cares about that??

:pachaha:

List is obviously trash.

No Duncan, Hakeem, Shaq, Bird, Lebron and Kobe.

i only have half of these names in my top 10.
lebron - will likely be added when he reitres. you have to be retired to make his list.
Bird is the only real snub.
Shaq is in my top 10 too,
i literally have hakeem & duncan at 11 & 12.
kobe is in my top 15-20.

This would be a respectable old head list if not for Karl Malone. Why not just put Hakeem there?

fukking Karl Malone? :mjlol:
Tell me exactly what's respectable about having Tiny Archibald over a Larry Bird or Hakeem unless the dude is your breh breh? :dahell:

The list is trash, I'd like to say that the list is consistent but not even that. You can see that when he came to the bottom two he started tweaking

I'm not gonna sit here and argue another man's opinion, especially someone who has a resume like Dr. J... I think this just illustrates how people romanticize players of their generation and generally speaking dismiss the newer guys.

40 years from now you'll hear people claim Kobe, Wade and Bron were overrated. It's just the way things go.

Why would anyone have an issue with Dr J's all time list? It's HIS list!! If one ask ANY HOF Legend or any current NBA player as well as those in between the same question, then the list will vary....

I know my list would be different and I am sure the same could be said about any poster her as well as any NBA fan...

*shrugs*

He's always been salty about his legacy because he feels Stern cheated him. He says the ABA stats would be combined with NBA stats post merger, but they ended up not doing that
shyt 3 mvps 3 scoring titles and 2 chips in the beginning of your pro career just to have someone tell you that shyt don’t matter. I’d be salty too.

The 718
Karl Malone is interesting, which makes me want to deep dive on a topic I don’t think I ever heard discussed

Is the 4 the weakest position in terms of talent in nba history?
Like the top five power forwards may be weaker than the top five of each other position
PF is probably the most ill defined position. Most PFs tend to either be closet centers, brolic/doughy SFs, or offensively challenged SFs with strong defense

all his accolades, stats, accomplishments etc dropped when he joined the NBA. And he was only 26.
