I never understood how players can go professionally into a sport and not be a bookwork about its history.

I mean, I don't know how it used to be, but growing up, I knew more about the history of basketball than any of my friends who were actually really good. I read all those sports books in the library, and they never wanted to touch any of that. I can't say I'm surprised really. And I'm far from an expert.

Only people that really dikkride Bron like that is fans :pachaha:

Nba players and the like respect his talent but thats where it ends. The fact that nikka jumped ship to win a chip obviously plays a huge part.

look at that, another HOF and someone that played professional basketball picking Kobe but let these white boys tell it and Kobe isn't even a top 20 player.

If I just look at the last 15 years, he's probably been the most consistent, most dominant player that we've had as far as 15 years all together. He's won four titles, multiple All Stars, MVP, and so on and so on.
:why:

this nikka dont know what the hell he talking about. how is the nikka with 2 back-to back 15 ppg seasons and a career average of 20 and 11 more consistent than the nikka with 15 staight 20 ppg seasons and a carrer average of 25, 5, and 5. Somone please justify the consistency argument, please.

Deng is very much in play in the conversations between Chicago and Los Angeles, ESPN.com has learned.

And it's mainly because of Bryant's wishes that Deng is still wearing a Chicago uniform.

A source with knowledge of the trade talks said Deng has been included in proposals swapped between the teams, but Bryant has continually threatened to veto almost any deal in which Deng would be included. Bryant wants to be sure that the team he joins has enough talent remaining to compete for the NBA title.
