So PSN is under maintenance right now and my brother can't play TLOU because his copy is digital. It says something about can't verify license unless connected to the internet.

Is the PS4 set as your authorized ps4? If you gamersharing then its gonna fukk it up. Its stupid cause Sony actually lied about not changing the DRM policies, as it did not work like this on the PS3. Also, try disconnecting the PS4 from the internet and starting it like that

When PSN was down on Sunday, I should note though that all my games were working including "road not taken" and "thief". That surprised me because I didn't think it would work with PSN being down.

This proves that it's dependent on the game wether it requires a PSN connection.

Before you get all emotional...Chill. I can guarantee the problem is he doesn't have it activated as his primary PS4. Once he does that he can play his downloaded games fine while offline.

Settings>PSN>Activate as primary
