Overall, making better choices in general and consistently will lead to a much more healthy mental state.

This is of course, duh.... But knowing better and doing better are two completely different concepts. As a 33 year old man I am actively focusing on making better decisions every day while avoiding the vices I used to fall victim to. Nobody controls your mind but you, so the responsibility of your happiness is completely on you.

Let's all make an active and continuous commitment to do better my nikkas

Decided on May 13th no fried foods for the remainder of the month. Did that with success and I'm carrying it over into this current month.

Devoid of any drama, chaos, toxicity (been doing that for quite some time anyway)

Brother to Brother was developed in collaboration with Black Mental Wellness trainees to amplify the voices of Black men. This initiative was developed to highlight the personal experiences of Black men who have experienced mental health concerns and/or life stressors and identify what helped them to find a pathway to healing and triumph.

Our hope is that these vulnerable conversations will help to reduce the mental health stigma, and empower Black men to seek the help and resources they need to heal.

We hope you will join us for this dynamic panel discussion on Monday, June 17, 2024, for FREE.
