Jury Duty is boring AF

It’s mostly 90% of just waiting around to be selected for a trial. From 8:30 am to 5pm. Smh

2nd day and I am already exhausted.

I denied it every single time since i turned 18, they hit me right when i turned too. They even sent me a carbon copy paperwork talking about a 250 fine. They havent sent me shyt since i got fined by thr judge. I want to serve now tho since im older and want to contribute postively to the criminal system ib respect to jury duty and jury of peers in my city

i put that shyt off for as long as i could, ended up with some threatening letter so i went.

this was for Grand Jury Duty. I had to have a meeting with the Clerk to determine when i would serve.

its either 2 weeks straight, 9a-5p, or 4 weeks, 9a-1p.

im sitting there, trying to get out, and breh says, maybe if more people that looked like us served on juries, it would be less of us locked up.

i did the 4 weeks, then i would just goto work after.

wasnt that bad, and at some point really interesting.

Got called up for Grand Jury Duty which required me to come to the courthouse 3 days/week for 5 month and wait ALL DAY...., fukk no!
I hit up my doctor, complained about something and duke wrote me an excuse letter. Got out!
