I would agree with the premise of what you're saying if we weren't talking about a criminal investigation and two parties that are obviously familiar with each other. Lemon telling Jussie that the Chicago PD didn't believe him could literally be considering as tipping off Jussie beforehand to change up his story or could even be getting rid of potential evidence before the cops actually show up since they obviously didn't believe him.

Just because it happens all the time doesn't make it any less unethical. It's why I said that Lemon better hope that all that was discussed and that Jussie doesn't have a paper trail as he seems to have no problem whatsoever throwing everyone under the bus to save himself.

You're assuming that's all was said and that Jussie doesn't have more texts of the conversation. It's the same lie that Cuomo did until the text messages came out that showed that he was lying and he played a bigger part than initially mentioned.
