I dont have any brothers, I dont really know my uncles like that and was only a single mom for a short period. Ive got 1 in college living on his own. 1 who said fucc school got his ged he tried to go to the army but I put a stop to that and hes working and living on his own. And my youngest will have his associates degree when he graduates high school next year thats working. I recently saw a headline for a newspaper a young man who was born to a 13 yr old single mom from new orleans got accepted to either yale or harvard. There is no excuse for being a shytty parent. It dont cost shyt to be an attentive parent even if u are single. Alot of these "parents" are too focused on trynna live their lives that they kids fall to the wayside.
Not in all situations, but lots of times single parent households come about because the mom, dad, or both weren't quality individuals to begin with. It doesn't surprise me that they can't raise decent children because they aren't decent themselves, which may go into explaining why they are single parents in the first place.
