I initially said Q-Tip v Quik, but I'd take Madlib or Dam Funk.

Madlib vs Quik though, damn that's tough cause their styles are so different. Quik a musician but Madlib is a sample guru. It would be one for the books if they battled.

pretty much all NY records are politics.

ATL the strip club is where records are broken and a sponsor is needed and people go major in a heartbeat. SFL is a much harder market and Khaled opened doors.

In SFL there is no industry like NY or ATL and Khaled broke people with no label behind them and its WELL documented.

In retrospect, I wanna say I respect Khaleed for putting others on. More Dj's should be like he was and not be so political. Khaleed did a good thing by putting folks on.
