It's called input lag, it's why I don't play FPS games on my big tv's, I use a monitor for that. It has nothing to do with the xbox, you will get the same results playing the same game on the ps3. Next time do more research on the tv so you don't buy one that has a huge amount of input lag and fukk yourself over.

Unfortunately that shyt happens on a lot of tvs no matter what system u have. I have a 55 samsung that did it until I turned off all that post processing shyt that gave it that soap opera effect. You should try turning that off first.

Display Lag | HDTV & Monitor Input Lag Database

This site has a database of monitors and HDTVs and their input lag. Sell the TV and use this database to find another TV that's up to par for gaming

I agree with @bmoxover that if you are serious about your gaming, you'd be gaming on a monitor

I would recommend you the Asus VH236H (aka the EVO monitor), but that monitor has been discontinued. According to SRK, the Asus VS238H-P is the exact same monitor as the EVO Monitor except it doesn't have built in speakers like the EVO Monitor does, the stand isn't as strong, and its an LED monitor instead of LCD
looked up both my TVs on there my Sony 47 inch that cost more than my LG 55 inch is rated worse at 42ms for the Sony and 34ms for the LG.

jesus christ....LMFAOOOOOO!!!!! those are terrible for gaming.

Fellas, you want a gaming tv that isnt a monitor go as high as 32 inches to minimize input lag. If you want a monitor with very low input lag look into Asus monitors, they are used in tournaments n shyt.

Im not really into the gaming enough like that to switch TVs. I have changed my display to gaming mode and also switched the aspect ratio so it does not use all of my screen and it has helped but it is still too frusterating to play COD online. What I need to know if if this will affect madden or 2K or any sports games. If that is the case and it makes those unplayable I am just going to flip them

I had the same issues on my Sony HDTV a few years ago. It got really really noticeable when playing guitar hero games. Since those game are based off quick timing and reflexes, the lag literally made it unplayable. Eventually after messing around in the e'er settings I saw a setting that literaly said "game mode" and that fixed everything. So as others said, Google your TVs model and you'll lotions a similar fix

So

Breh turn off any smooth motion or setting that sounds like that. It should be acceptable once that is done.
