2ms response time 
Just bought an Xbox today and it lags so bad on my LG HDTV Smart TV

Honestly when i bought mt TVs i just looked at the reviews and got the two better of the reviewed models last year. i wanted a 47 and 55 inch HX850 from Sony but only got the 47. i guess this LG 55LM7600 was actually better for gaming. i play alot on that Sony and i haven't noticed any issues.
the thing i like about these TVs is if i put it on game mode on a certain input the TVs remember that HDMI should always be on that mode but the other HDMIs independently remember their modes too.
what model is it? if you don't but something that's a flagship model or close to it you might just have a garbage TV. if your TV doesn't have a 240Hz on the box and come with included 3D these days its probably a junk model. the entry level 240Hz model is usually 2 models away from the flagship and is a decent buy. its like buying an Android phone that's not a flagship.

The TV I posted about doesn't get much better even if you turn the game mode or the PC mode on, and you turn all the other stuff off. The "smooth motion" 120hz setting doesn't even turn itself completely off even though it says it does. That TV is trash for gaming, and other TVs might be like that too. You gotta do your research in different places before copping a new TV these days.

i bougt the 60pn5700 from frys at 699
here is what i did thats helped dramatically
i named the input the xbox is on to "pc"
i didnt use game mode
i switched it to cinema and i get the best response time
i can now play 2k pretty descent now...all my shots are falling even online with the added lag there.
mine is a plasma though not sure about led
