That’s not bad..we charge more towards restaurants for fresh mahi so that’s actually a good deal.

Was on Door dash today and they wanted 13 for a catfish/ perch sandwich. 25 for 2 pcs and 6 shrimp. 
This was not my intention. I was trying to get some young perch but they was out. Then I wanted some red snapper but they only had the whole fish, and dude said he didn’t know how to filet it cause he was new, and cause he a hoe.
So, since I’m much too sophisticated for tilapia, and they didn’t have wild caught salmon, just the farm raised, the only option left to be the main course fit for a boss like myself was the mahi mahi. I fukks with mahi 2x.
So I’m like breh, let ya boy get one of those mahi 2x and a pound of mussels (mussels my shyt, on god)
So I get byke to the secret lair, ready whip up a master piece, and noticed this fish was $14.99 a piece, not a pound. shyt is actually $45.68 a pound. This better be this best fish in the ocean

8 yrs ago at safeway in tacoma...i paid 85.96 for some catfish nuggets..
they had filets..i prefer nuggets... had a fish fry in lakewood....
everybody was askin where did i get the nuggets from...didnt take em no time to get it in stock...
i useta have to order blue bell from albertsons...special order... because they had never heard of it... lol nikka said fukk a tillamook

why were they so expensive? no catfish in washington state?

Gulf of Mexico and the inland marshes is where I catch most of my fish. I could’ve gave you some red snapper op, we catch them shyts down here like nothing. Redfish, flounder, speckled trout, catfish, shrimp, crab, oysters, Spanish mackerel all them joints.

I feel for y'all inland folks and nikkas who forgot how to fish. You can catch Mahi by the dozens down here. You can catch them from the pier don't even need a boat. But to your other point mahi is good as hell.i eat all kinds of fish Mahi top 3 to me .
