Just caught covid for the first time

Man when I caught it for Christmas of 21 I thought I was a goner. Had me looking out the window at 3am talking to god and shyt You nikkas lucky that this new shyt is nothing.

I didn't catch it until I went back to work in April 2022. Shyt was the worst b. I could barely breathe and my mouth was drier than a brillo pad.

Thread just reminded me to get my booster shot.

Still never had COVID or at least I don't think I have

Or ff I did it was so minor I didn't bother to get tested.

Could have been asymptomatic. Had it but no symptoms.

That's why it was scary during the peak, could be giving it to your elderly parents, vulnerable family members and friends without knowing.

I was never worried about myself throughout 2020-2022. I got it in 2021. Felt uncomfortable at first but nothing after. Had to get tested for work so that's how I knew. So I may have got it a couple of times since but wouldn't know. It's unfortunate when it's lethal for a person though.

When I caught it the first time, I literally thought my life was over with. Was sick as shyt two weeks…. Went to the hospital twice.

The second time… I was like, “Here we go with this shyt again.. “ and turnt the a/c on max and wrapped up in a blanket like a burrito. shytted and threw up at the same time for one whole day. I sat and slept in a computer chair in the corner of the house for two days coughing. Drank only Gatorade and went to Florida on vacation 3 days later feeling good…

I am getting over my 3rd case of Covid. Most annoying part of it was the chest congestion for me. Mild fever, mild cough, but chest stayed congested for 1 week or so.

COVID does something to your mind. The symptoms were that of a mild cold but I never felt more miserable if that makes any sense. I was sick for maybe four days but it felt like I was never going to get better. The thought of having mild cold symptoms indefinitely literally had me kicking like a baby.

When I had it last year, I had a migraine that would not go away. It lasted for maybe 2-3 days but damn, were those days a bytch.

First time sucked but it was scary more than anything because the virus was new as hell so I was scared I'd die in my sleep or something.


that second time tho...shyt was truly awful mane. never been that sick in my life
