Easiest thing is to just put Kodi on a laptop with HDMI out. The Windows version is much more stable than the Android version.

Then look up how to add repositories.

I have one of the Chinese Android boxes with Kodi and I can't hardly watch anything. I put it on a family members laptop and that's strictly how they watch NFL network for Thursday night games. High speed Internet required.
