breh the 11" macbook is the GOAT computer. I have been using mine since 2013. still runs amazing, still get between 5-10 hours of battery life depending on what i am doing.
if i am browsing the net all day, it's closer to 10 hours. if watching movies, 5 hours.
so easy to carry, so light, so sexy, so sleek. it also has taken quiet a bit of a beating but still runs good as fukk. plus apple got the GOAT customer service. the ssd failed after 2.5 years, and after complaining a few times to apple, they replaced it free of charge.

My Acer from freshmen year of high school finally gave up the ghost, and I didn't have the money to buy a new one, so my father came through and copped me something with what he thought were the best stats. 8GB ram, 1TB HD, 17in
Its better than the Acer I had though, it would overheat on any surface and shut off. Plus it had a massively loud fan

I'll just size up if I'm not a fan.In no way I can recommend grabbing a laptop with less than a 13" screen unless it is a Microsoft Surface.
Have fun with it though. Download Libreoffice for work

Im on an 11" macbook air and its the greatest and funnest laptop I've ever had. Im literally laying down on my bed with it in one hand typing with the other hand. The only thing its missing is the retina screen.
