I don't think the 4kTV would really make a difference since the TV is merely upscaling a 1080p source. Now GTAV PC version.. that can actually be rendered in 4k.

It's amazing how some people shyt on an Xbox One for not being native 1080p and having it be upscaled to that but others will let their TV set upscale a game x4 the native resolution and say it looks good...
No its not. The jump when you upscale 1080p to 4k is much larger than the jump from 900p to 1080p.Better than 900p upscaled.

Blowing up something 30% is preferable to blowing it up 400%. It's not better in this case because it's a larger number.---to 4k

Is upconversion a bad thing or a good thing? It can't be bad in the case of 900p to 1080p but be good in 1080p to 4K.Aesthetically though, it doesn't look worse
And I think about it like this, you're taking a native 1080p game and making it fit onto a 900p game. In this situation, you're taking a 1080p game and inserting it onto a 4K screen. It's really contracting vs expanding. I know that's not how it exactly works, but you got the drift
