You got me thinking aboot getting a navi cd screen in my jawnt too (even tho the whip already has a separate main navi screen).
The stock units only upside is that it has a mp3 6 compact discos changer.
I don't want to give up/compromise the discs cuz i be changing my jams all the time.
Is there a way i can have a 6 disc cd navi head unit?
Don't even sweat the details. My companion be complaining as well that a manual would ruin her outfit. By going auto, it keeps everything in tact and no concern of rubbing or wear and tear. Errthang just sits all nice and purdy.
btw...
This companion of mine are my shoes.
Plus, it frees up your hands to do other multittasking shiit; i.e. answer an important phone call from ya weed man, eat a sammich, finger the passenger, adjust the doo-rag, etc.
You may be able to find a kit that enables your factory CD changer to work with an aftermarket unit. I know they exist for my car. But fukk CDs man, my nav can stream off of my phone via bluetooth, or i can attach a portable drive via a USB and stream movies or music off of it. I bought a 200 gig portable drive that i'm currently loading with movies, music videos, and MP3s. Betweeen the hard drive and my phone, i'll have nearly 230 gigs of media at my disposal. Nothing beats catching up on episodes of House of Cards while speeding down the freeway...
