Nope, not a US breh.
Are you in the design game though ? Can you display your work ? And feel free to enlighten us about your tools and how you use them. This subforum is new, we'll need people to share their experience and advice above all if we can get coli brehs interested in design and/or any art related matter.
Might not be restricted to Americans you right even if most of the members seems to be. Will look into it to see its benefits, seems interesting. What country you located in breh?? I don't think AIGA is like an ONLY AMERICAN type thing. It's as far as I know for designers all over the world whether it's graphic designers, web, motion, game, 3D, printers, artist and so on.
I can try to show off some of my work one day but I wanna continue to tweak and improve on my craft.
As far as tools I use, it's mainly the big 3; InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. I do fux with a little but of motion graphics and for that I've used Apple Motion 5.
I been trynna learn web coding and I just fukk with text editors like Text Wrangler or Notepad +++, but depends on whether I'm on Mac's or PC's (for some reason I prefer to do web coding on PC's but everything else on MAC).
Ummmmm, trynna think of what else to tell, ask me something.... That's the basic breakdown for now

I was thinking of joining AIGA a while ago. But I just didn't see the benefit, the chapter in the area I was located at the time met twice a year or less.
Whats the major benefits that you got you considering sticking with it?
how much does cost to become a member now? i'm kicking myself for not using the student discount while i was in school
