I got back more for my house then in previous years. Trump added something for homeowners according to my preparer

I got back to 2g's but that's because I have a 0 exemption with 0 withholding; both the state and federal take more taxes than they need from my check

Exaaactly, the more money you make the less money you get back, especially if you're not doing any charitable works, which is what people who usually make that kind of money would set up for themselves to get that kind of money back

Depends on your withholdings. I made more money so naturally I paid more taxes which is one of the reasons i got back more
