I know I'm a little late since its been out for years but wow. Great read.

I didn't know Prodigy was really in the streets like that. Most rappers front so even though I was always a Mobb Deep fan, I never really believed many of the stories they were telling. I thought it was just music.

But there are also a lot of funny and interesting stories when he talks about incidents with other rappers. Capone supposedly snitching. N.O.R.E. shooting some dude then getting stomped the fukk out over it. Being at Pun's house and being the only one without a gun on him and pun and his people giving him the

shytting on Ja Rule and Saigon. Lots of funny and very interesting stories in the book.

The book was entertaining but u kinda foolish if u believe all that nonsense. All of his story's have a common theme...

He gets into an altercation

He then gets slapped, robbed, or thrown under a car (Keith Murray)

He spends the rest of the chapter explaining how he should have or would have killed or shot someone but _____ happened and he said "fukk it" and fell back.

Prodigy is ya typical nyc nikka, has a good imagination and great storytelling skills.

I guess I'm kinda naive but I believe most of the stories he tells. But yeah, everyone always says Prodigy gets his ass beat on a regular basis, that's the rumours for people who don't know him but when I read his book it was a very different story than what I was expecting.

But apparently he has a lot of people that can back his claims.

He only mentions getting robbed once or twice. He also claims to have chased Saigon out of the club on two different occasions. But when it comes to the Keith Murray incident, he kinda skipped that. He said Keith stepped to him but not that he whipped his ass so who knows if all his stories are true

he said rae and ghost gave him a dust blunt that he didn't know was laced and he woke up in a abandoned building in the Bronx with Rae and Ghost taking turns on his culo

:laff:

What did he say about Ghost and Rae getting them hooked on dust ?

Nah, he said they smoked together a few times or something like that. But P said he didn't really smoke dust but at one point he was smoking and snorting coke. He said he was coked up during the Shook Ones pt 2 video.

I felt sorry for P reading this book. You can tell he was nothing more than a suburban dude from Long Island who became infatuated with streets. And no matter what he tried to do, he could never really fit in all the way in QB. He was never really accepted as one of them. People always looked at him as a wannabe. That's why he had beef with people from QB, but they never fukked with Hav.

Are you sure we read the same book here?

P was spending time in QB since he was 8 or so cause his mother worked out there. Also, they all accepted him like family in QB. He spent all his time there once he was friends with Havoc. He had beef with maybe one or 2 dudes there. Everyone else liked him and accepted him as part of the crew.

Also, it was funny the fact that for a while, Nore couldn't show his face in QB after accidentally shooting Karate Joe in his leg. That's why he got that serious stomping a little later. Also now I understand why Ty Nitty hates Nore so much  He got shot in his back by Nore's people right after they beat Nore up.
