I'd put 95-99 P up against anyone as a rapper, the only thing that holds him back is his subject matter remained the same for the most part.

True. In his prime he was one of the best. But I wouldn't put him over Pac or Biggie or many others. I'd say if I had to rate him he would be in my top 20 but he wouldn't be in the top 10.

P was wrecking songs lyrically such as Shook Ones and Hell On Earth (Frontlines), P was killing concept songs like Temperature's Rising, P was killing guest verses on legendary songs like LL's I Shot Ya.

In my opinion P was one of the illest to ever do it in his prime and a lot of nikkas feel this way

Mobb Deep was thoro AS A GROUP. I'd Havoc the nod though. Solo wise, P has a nice cadence but he not that versatile lyrical speaking,

Pac got better albums than Havoc and Prodigy.
Sure. Me Against The World is better than Juvenile Hell for example. But no PAC album is seeing the Infamous. It's not even close. PAC doesn't have a flawless album like that. If you really want to get critical, all of Pac's classics are debatable. I don't feel that way personally.

In your last post you talked about solo P, P as a solo artist cannot be compared to P from 95-99. His voice had changed and he became much more lazy as a writer.

I disagree maybe from a popularity standpoint those guys were bigger in certain years, Mobb Deep was pretty hot the Hell On Earth had the streets on fire in '96 nikkas use to wild out to that God Pt.III shyt, and Shook Ones is an All-Time classic song as is Quiet Storm.

The Infamous is better than any Pac album, overall Pac has a better catalog
It's debatable. Right off top, I'm not holding any of those awful posthumous albums against Pac.
So you've got
Infamous
HOE
Murda Muzik

vs.

MATW
AEOM
Makaveli

They both have subpar material. It's a wash on that. You judge those three albums from each against each other.

To me Mobb takes it pretty easily. Infamous is the clear gem of that group and HOE is on par or close to any of those three albums. Murda Muzik is probably the weakest of the six. I can see how people would go with PAC.

dunn punched me in the eye and i couldn't pull the heat cause my shoe was untied:troll:

i can't do the mobb vs pac thing. 2 of the greatest discographies in hip hop ever. i honestly couldn't choose. i always wished they would've came together and done a collab over a havoc beat. ron g should've pulled some strings.
