We watch, The Oval, Sistas, and Ruthless…she watches Zatima and Beauty in Black and All the Queens Men…you know what’s about to come. Rushed scripts, bad hair, inconsistent acting smh

I did watch one episode of All the Queens Men and the shyt was so ridiculous I couldn’t believe it.

That being said It’s a Woman’s show so women have to be the victim but women came out on top Queen was ordering nikkas around had male strippers doing hits for her.

I don’t watch much tv outside of food network, cnn and live sports…my wife always watching some show and I just kinda fall into some of them. The Oval, Sistas, and Ruthless are just night time soap operas TP wild as hell lmbo













TLDR: It’s “cuddle time” ish 2-3 days out the week

Hate to say it but you aren’t exactly wrong.

The thing is, there are so many of our women who have been overlooked or disregarded by society at large, it can be easy to cling to someone/something that makes you a priority, even if it ultimately isn’t great for you.

A lot of women don’t seem to realize that in once breath we are trying to dismantle stereotypes about ourselves, but in the next breath we have a bunch of women praising a gay man who perpetuates the same image.

A man in a body suit and dress cosplaying as an elder Black woman, the downtrodden Black women in damn near every film…
Yes he employs lots of Black talent, but at the cost of our image.

But some were fooled because he started off making plays for the church crowd and it snowballed from there.

He knows how to put together a quality production if someone of Sanaa or Kerry Washington’s caliber/pedigree decides to work with him though, and that should tell folks everything they need to know
